Did a little fishing today before the big storm rolled in. Got off the water just before it hit. With all the cold we have had the water temp is in the 51-55 degree range already. Found a lot of walleye stacked up in 25-35 feet but didn't bother them. Decided to try and catch some big pike or a musky. Ended my short voyage with one eating size pike, one super tanker pike and one fish that just peeled drag and got off. Tried to get a picture of the big pike but she wasn't hooked great and I didn't make a huge effort with the net. Feel bad for guys in the tourney this weekend...that will be cold!!!!
