Hey Brian, I didn't have a chance to meet up with Kris in the metro but did still hit Independence and Waconia. Only one fat 41" boated but a lot of action, actually hooked 2 other fish while raising about 8-10 others. Inde not so busy but Waconia was slammed 40-50 boats on a 2800+- acre lake. How's the action been on the cass chain? I'll see if I can post a pic for you. Can't wait to see some pics of some fall cass pigs......good luck!

Congrats on the metro fishing...doesn't sound like you needed a guide down there. Haven't been out much as of late here. Trying to get things done around the ranch before the deep freeze hits. Once the water gets a little colder I will want to be on the water more piggy hunting. Had a big pike trip on my list of things to do today but it got canceled so I tryed for some on Cass and got one real fatty and lost one ski or pike that felt good.
Everyone loved the meat, mostly got eaten with cheese and crackers for after fsihing snacks.
