Brent Hirsch came in first and Ty got second place in the Hayward Lakes Muskies Inc. Tournament this weekend. Brent won with a 48" and a 45.5". Ty boated two nice ones this morning- a 41.5" and a 47.5" to put him in second. The first picture is of Ty's 41.5" and the last two are of the 47.5". Congratulations guys and how cool to have the fish in the top two places come from the Chip! -Rachel

Congrats!

Placing 2nd on the last day of the tourney with two fish is a nice way to break the slump.

I thought I'd be fishing the tournament but...........................................

Congrat's to both of you. Those are some great fish to catch. Nice to pull it out on the last day also. Very impresive work. Nice to see you this weekend and good luck the rest of the season.

Thanks you guys. I didn't want Rachel to post that but she did while I was getting live bait rigs ready last night. I'm glad Brent won. That was his first time fishing the Chip this year. His dad Fred had been out on the Chip this year though so I'm sure he had a game plan. Those guys are good fishermen. It didn't surprise me when I heard they caught some good fish. Great seeing everyone at the tournament. Looking forward to next year already.

Congrats . . . . apparently things turned around after you saw me. Things stayed the same for me, never saw a fish of any kind.

My partner landed a 38 " Sat morning and later in the day lost a conservative 50+++. Had it on for a couple of minutes before he got it to the surface about 10 feet from the boat. fish was massive ! It let go of the bucktail, so it ends up being another monster that got away story.

Once again Congrats to Brent & Ty and all the other (crazy?) musky fanatics that fished the tournament in that beautiful weather.

I'm not sure what the scar was from. Maybe stretch marks from eating too many crappie. Just kidding of course. My guess is that the scar is from something that happened when it was little.
