fishing report for october 1

guided yesterday out on the chip, it was really windy, and I had my client fly fishing, so he had a bit of a battle, good thing he was a really good flyfisherman, he did great all day, he had one 40 incher up on the first spot, and he caught a pike, not a great day, I was really hoping to see him hook into a musky, thought it would be cool to see on a fly rod. didn't hear of anybody else doing any good either so maybe the fly rod was an advantage. water temps on the flowage were 55-58.

I've been meaning to try flyfishing for em'. That would be insane. It's so windy up here even the mud puddles are whitecapping. I won't even go trolling.
