I literally look at that picture weekly during the winter months to keep me motivated to brave the weather. Howard registered that fish as 54.5" with Muskies inc. not the 52.5" as stated in the caption. That is one of the greatest PA musky pictures of all time!

54.5 x 28 puts her at 53.4 pounds.........give or take a pound or three. I continue to research the Walker fish but I just cannot find a photo of it. I heard it was published in a book somewhere but no luck on my end.......and believe me, I have searched.

Great photo and even greater effort put into catching her!

I have a picture of that fish in Larry Ramsell's musky compendium and in his more recent books with the bright yellow covers( I can't think of what they are called). That fish looks like a beast, it is very dark looking in the pictures.

Red, I received my replica yesterday of my 55" from Lax. I was shocked at how good it looks. When I get a chance I'll take a picture of it and post it on here.

You had told me that before regarding the Walker fish but I had forgotten. I should just buy the book sometime and be done with it.

If your Lax looks anything like the real thing, I bet it is impressive as well.
