Water level

Just wondering, I have a previous post questioning water temps, new quandry has come up. We are coming up last week of October. Staying in a house on deerskin, off scattering rice. Last year the channel was pretty shallow. Need to know if I wiil be able to get boat through deerskin? Or should we look for other lodging. THANX, ED

I can't say anything specifically about Deerskin but I know the water in the area is much lower than it was last year. The entire area has been in a pretty severe drought this summer with the exception of a little rain lately.
