Can't tell you how many times I've heard comments like this regarding our fishing on the bay.. Walleye fishing has been very good for the past few weeks and the musky fishing is off-the-chart!!!!
Quote from 9/19/09...
"A group of 3 of us went walleye fishing with Captain Wayne.
I went fishing for 20 yrs in Canada on Fly in Trips and
will never go again. This was the most fun and professional fishing
trip I was ever on. Caught nice walleyes, and would recommend it to any
one who wants to go fishing. Phil from Racine, Wi"

Scott, I've heard from some muskie nuts that they're having good luck. Maybe I'll have to drag my boat up there and give it a shot this fall. That's all I need is to get hooked on Great Lakes muskies. I like the inland variety already, but did the "up north" thing in the 80s and it ran its course ... this new "fever" really takes hold of some folks on Lower GB and Door. What an amazing fishery.

Anyway, check out this giant Great Lakes muskie from Michigan. I'm sure there could be some this size caught here this fall, if there haven't already been. He tried to release it but it was bleeding badly. There are 19 photos, each with caption info and a bit of a story but the site makes you click a new page each time to see/read it all:
