Doing a half day trip on Wednesday, my 2 clients and I worked 6 to 9 foot depths over scattered submerged wood with Reeves weedless jigs tipped with fatheads and found 4 nice eyes along with one big smallie. Other areas produced nothing. Thursday was spent with 2 clients and the walleye action was not to be on this bright and calm fall day, tried the same areas without a single fish, not even a smallie. We did however work some cribs with 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with a small piece of crawler and boated many gills along with a few jumbo perch, kept a total of 20 all together.
