Jute Lake

I'm strictly and completely a catch and release, only artificial lures, smallie fisherman. I stopped by Jute Lake a couple of weeks ago just to look at the lake - wasn't fishing - and it looked pretty good. Has anyone fished Jute? Is it a good smallie lake? Thinking about trying it this weekend. Any suggestions on which area(s) to fish on the lake? Any information would be sincerely appreciated.

What's the access situation like out there? In what condition is the boat landing? 4WD required?

I'm in your boat. Went past there a few times this summer but never took the time to stop and check it out for myself.

Ramp was in great shape - no need for 4 WD. I'm from the Minocqua area so that's a a pretty far way to pull if the lake's not that good - that's why I'm asking if anyone has fished it.
