Just home from a beautiful weekend on the TFF. Friday I didn't see any muskies, but caught half a dozen nice smallies while throwing bucktails. Saturday afternoon I went up to Bonies Mound, which I don't fish much, and picked up a chunky 42" musky, a 19" smallie and a 28" northern. Then I caught another musky, a 35", just after dark in Baraboo. All the Saturday fish came on an orange/black bucktail. Stayed until 2:30 today, and saw two more muskies, but neither wanted to bite. Surface temps were around 68 degrees today and the water level was at -4.25 feet according to the Springstead Landing gauge.
