As we all know, east winds generally make for some tough fishing. My question is, when we have east winds for a week or so, does that consistancy of direction nullify the negative effects of that east wind (do the fish get used to it) or is east wind still gonna be an issue?

I think it depends more on sun or clouds. If you don't see action in first few hours of light on sunny east winds its rougher. It also depends on whether you talk to the head muskie and see if he can ask the others to bite on that particular day. Jingling your testes in the water on east wind days can also produce violent strikes. I think I read that in musky hunter, maybe not.
