With cold fronts continuing to hammer Lake Ontario, the King Salmon/Steelhead's could care less, all they are concerned about is there spawning run just a few weeks away. We have been fishing in 400-600
feet of water and Salmon/Trout fishing just could not be any better. One day the wire dipsy combo have been good using white spin doctor with white fly white beads, than the next day the downrigger bite is on fire. Mostly using green, purple spoons in various combinations, blueberry muffin has been the best spoon so far. We are headed for our last weekend so we will be returning to Lake Erie this Monday. If you have never fished Lake Ontario who really need to check with us so you can catch one of these mighty Salmon, we will be back next year @ the same time and The Erie Drifter team would love to fullfill your dreams.
