Got a late start on Tuesday as my clients and I waited out a big thunder storm, we did make it out at 1 PM and found very little action to start with after the passing of the cold front. First couple of spots we tried were mid lake humps that produced nothing but a few snags. Moving on to work weedy bays, we finally hooked up with some eyes, but it was only one here and one there, we finished our afternoon trip with 4 decent eyes along with 1 big smallie and a few throwback pike and an undersize smallie, most all the fish came on Reeves weedless jigs tipped with crawlers.
Back out today for 2 half day trips, will keep you posted.
