Fishing Report for August 17

Friday, fished on North eastern wisconsin with my good friend bill beuchner on a small river filming for the upcoming DVD. Got one short musky, and two mid to upper 30 inch fish, both on topwater had one awesome hit, and got it all on film. it was alot of fun. Got what we needed so we headed back to hayward, and bill and I fished on saturday on the chip. Saw I think 10 fish, all but a couple were nice, upper 30's to mid to upper 40's all but a few on blades, would follow with there nose on the biats, but turn off at the boat. I did loose one on a pacemaker, just had it hooked in the nose, hit me at the boat, and I lost it in the battle. Sunday, never made it out fishing, and today just guided in the morning, and no luck.

Action on the chip has been slow but fish are being caught. On sunday a guy got a heavy 48" on a creeper. Last night I was out with Bob Mason and Bob got a nice 48" on a pacemaker. That was the only fish we saw all day.
