Here is a photo of a 49" musky that Alyssa caught in July. It was caught on Lake Nokomis, using a Beavertail and was RELEASED. She was just 14 years old when she caught it. One day before her golden 15th birthday (July 15th).
Congrats Alyssa, Great job and a great job on the release of a trophy Muskie!!

Some people will go a lifetime without ever landing a Musky that size. Just fantastic! Cherish the memory.

Any chance this fish was caught near the old Squirrel Haven resort. A few years back I caught a 48" fish off an island in that area and a friend caught one within 50 yards of my spot a year later that was 48 1/2. Wierd but true story. That fish was also released both times.
