Tuesday, guided out on the chip out of treelands resort. Didn't see any fish in the morning, and only saw one in the evening, and that fish ate,it was 41 inches, in real thick weeds.
Yesterday, guided out on LCO out of Anglers haven resort, saw two muskies on cowgirls, on about 40 and the other shoter. but didn't eat. last night went out on the chip out of treelands resort. right away in the evening, I had something weird happen to my bait so I set the hook, and my line took off like I have never seen before, I was wondering what it was, then I noticed I was realing in a musky backwards, I snagged about a 35 incher in the back, and then it flipped out at the boat. anybody who has ever snagged a musky knows that it is probably the harders fight you will ever have, it took a while but we landed it. then at dark, client had a fish take a swipe at his topper stopper, but missed the bait, and then a short time later a fish pushed a wake on it about half way to the boat.
Fishing the last few days has been tough, we are just lucking into fish. It has been Africa hot out and flat calm, not exactly the best conditions, and at dark the bugs are so bad you can hardly stand it.
Good luck,
and post any reports that you might have.
