Tanner- Thanks for the tip on reversing your line on the reel when you start a new season. My neighbors all thought I was nuts, but then they already knew that, when I had my granddaughter hold the rod and I walked across a few yards to empty the spool, cut the line and then retie the old end to the reel. It worked perfectly. I was watching a fishing show on TV, and a Stren rep was the guest, he said that with the Super Braids we have today, it is not necessary to change your line every year, just watch the line for abrasions from fishing, and storage (never thought of that), and remove the bad line. I do this anyway, but what do you think of his comments on not changing the line out. Thanks...will be calling you later this week as well for September.
