Fishing for walleyes this summer has been consistently good. The best patterns have been deep diving cranks in the evening and fishing deep rocks and deep weeds in the late afternoon and evening. Jigging is working but slip bobbers have been best. Good depths have been 12-30 feet deep. The weed growth is different on many lakes than in the past. Some lakes are clearer than normal and the weeds are deeper than before and some clearer lakes the growth seems much less than in past years. Try to find the deepest weeds on the lake you are fishing and start there.

Mr Fish, thanks for all the excellent up to date reports so far this year! Just wondering if you'll be adding in any musky reports? I know you still have some redemption to take care of after that one that got away on Badfish III so we know your out there chucking for them, any reports or pics?
