Finally got a new USB cord for my camera so I can show the nice salmon that friends Chris Dean and Angela caught on Sunday. Angela started out on this 22 pounder but Chris had to finish him off. As I stated earlier on BSG's post we wound up 7 for 12 with one being a steelie. Most of the fish we have caught so far this year have been males but I did fillet a female on Sunday.

Hot spoon for me so far has been Moody Blue. JJ Mac Muffin has also been doing pretty good also. Haven't tried too many of the 2009 Moonshine colors yet but we will be experimenting with them quite a bit as the bite continues to improve. As always I will let everyone know what is working down this way.

Capt. Jim McDonald

PS. The 22 pounder came on a braid mag dipsy with a Mtn Dew SpinDoctor.

Nice catch. Looks like you had a great day on the water. I enjoyed the photographs. Looks like the forrage base is on the come back compared to years past.

Finn,
I have been running a Moonshine Crabface and a Gander Mountain doubleglow redtail on full and half-core. Those seem to be my hot lures so far!
