Tuesday's walleye action improved some as the winds switched to the SE along with a little cloud cover. Doing a half day trip, my 2 clients and I armed with Reeves jigs tipped with half crawlers, started out in 8 feet of water over hard bottom with submerged stumps and found some aggressive eyes. Working back and forth over this area for some time resulted in 5 nice keepers along with 3 nice ones that got off. We managed to boat 1 decent smallie before moving on. Our next 3 stops resulted in nothing, but our last move into 4 feet of water in and around large shoreline boulders resulted in 1 more nice eye along with 2 more nice smallies. Special note, another big hatch of mayfly's, smaller version.
