Hi Tanner
Do you or any of your posters know anything about the Holcombe Flowage? Reputation? types of fish it is known for, ect?
Thanks
David

That's a good body of water. Quite stained. Lots of shallow structure - probably won't find weeds much deeper than about 5 feet. I've fished lakes like that (wissota is about the same) by casting at shallow structure, but uys do well trolling the deeper river channels.
Holcombe has lots of fish at typical 30-40 inch rance, but definately a chance at some bigger fish. Holcombe usually gives up at least one upper 40-50+ fish during the September Muskies Inc Tournament each year.
It's definately worth fishing. Watch the boat traffic on sunny summer weekends...

David,
I have never fished it, but it is layed out like a typical wisconsin flowage, I have heard good numbers of fish with a good possiblilty of a big one, I have a friend of mine that has gotten a 50 out of there, just a few years ago.
Good luck,
