Well fishing has been up and down just like the weather. Walleyes have still been in and around the weeds and are being taken on small jigs and minnows with some leeches working as well. We are getting toward the end of the mayfly hatch so things should pick back up in a week or so. Look for these fish to start to move deeper as summer goes. Look for fishing to improve as this cold front that was here last week really shut things down dropping our water temps almost 15 degrees on the suface, and moring air temps of 45 degrees is not helping either. We get some more summer air coming in look for fishing to improve.
