We fished pretty hard yesterday. I'd say we put in about 6 hours or so. It wasn't hot and heavy but we had two follow and two hit. Two on bucktails and two on Pacemakers. We lost one right at the boat at dark. It hit way out and got off just before we could get it close enough to net.
We are going to fish some today so I'll post how we do.

4th of July weather was beautiful. We caught one 32" fish in a bay on a beat up suick. Other than that, didn't see a fish from either Thursday or Friday.
The water temps warmed up quickly from the low 60's mid-week to 70 Saturday afternoon.

Great weather. I got a 33 and a 37 on friday. Lots of strikes and follows over the weekend as well.
At one point I was figure 8'ing a fish and my boat partner was watching and he had one blow up on the topraider at the same time. That was pretty cool!
One month away from my trip down to the Chip.
