As Matt mentioned, water temps have maintained at 76-77* for the last week and a half. Weed growth is certainly appreciating the warmth and sun. Has been a marked improvement in the panfish activity. Attached is the young moose seen by Jeremy & Danielle last Mon. about a mile from the resort. We finally got our wish for night temps going no lower than 55*, but sure is amazing how fast lake temp went from 58* to 76* in 2-3 weeks. Now we just need some moisture!

Not entirely sure of the location of Winddrift, other than the NW corner of the lake. Is the resort in MI??? And was the moose a MI moose or a MI moose crossing the border??? Great pic, they are seeing them over in the Mercer area with some frequency here as of late!!!

The moose is in Mich. Actually on Cty. Rd. 210 also known as Indian Village Rd., the route to get to Indian Bay on the east, also by turning off on Misery Bay Rd. it will take you to the Misery bay boat launch and to our resort, which is the only resort on the Mich. side of Lac Vieux Desert.
