Muskie Combo

What do you guys think about this combo for a second muskie casting rod? I'm just starting out and would like to have a backup rod and reel.

Can't think of anything out there that might be close to this in price.

My advice is to save your money for something a tad better. My buddy picked up 2 Eight foot rods at the musky show this past Feb for $50 a piece. He got a Abu C3 6500 for $95 at Walmart. So, he has a great combo that is lighter in weight, has better sensitivity, longer rod and a more proven reel for $145.00. If you need a 2nd outfit now, I would look for used stuff as it would be better than that if it is in good condition.
