The fishing remains excelllent. The water temp in the main lake has finally gotten to 70 degrees. We have been fishing the boulder points and island out in the main lake. The crank bait bite is still the best choice for the bigger fish, we have found that it is best on the wind blown points. If the wind dies down we switch to jigs and live bait. We are still catching the walleyes in 3 to 9 ft. of water, the average size remain in the 19 to 23 inch range with fish as big as 29 inches. On the same points along with the walleyes we have been finding a lot of great northern fishing. We are seeing northerns in the 33 to 41 inch range. They, also. have been taking the crank baits and jigs presentations. If you are looking for the bass you just down size your crank bait a little and cast a little shallower they are on the same boulders points but only in 1 to 2 feet of water. The muskys are starting to get more and more active. In the last two days I have had muskys following 20 inch walleyes to the boat. We have been throwing some buck tails for them but have only been able to hookup up with some smaller one the bigger one have not been willing yet.
