Default 2010 Adventure Fishing Tours

Starting in March tru April 2011 I will be offering Peacock Bass & Arapima Fishing Adventure Trips to Guyana,South America. These trips will start out with a stay in a five star motel in Georgetown,Guyana on the way in and out. Then it will be off to the Silver "J" Ranch in Lethem,Guyana, from there the road trip to the jungle, there it will be very primitive, sleeping in hamecks strung in the back of a British Bedford Army Truck,6 wheel drive vehicle. The area of the upper headwaters of the Amazon River in Guyana back in the corner with Brazil and Columbia is where no one owns a fishing rod and the area has next to no fishing pressure except a few Amer-Indians with hand lines. The Peacocks are over 12 lbs and I use flyrods with poppers.Arapima have a head like a muskie and a fin like a bowfin and get to 600 lbs, toughest fish to land in the world, they can strip a Penn Senator spooled with 250 lb Power Pro as they pull you and the boat to mangroves to break off.The Arapima has been known to jump out of water to tree branches and take out unaware spider monkey's for dinner.Cost of this 10 day trip is $3500,includes airfare from Toronto,Canada or New York,NY,all travel in Guyana,Lodgeing, three meals a day and 7 days fishing!
Last two weeks of September & first two weeks of October 2011 I will offer Salmon Trips to the Skagit River in Washington State. There will be very large Chinook(King Salmon) to 55 lbs+,Cohos to 16 lbs and Humpies(Pink Salmon) as many as 30 a day till your arms hang at your sides. All fishing is done by drift boat with ultra light tackle.Tiger Muskie/Coho Trips to Mayfield Lake and the Cowlitz River will also be offered. Airfare from Buffalo or Chicago and 3 days fishing, lodging and meals for $1500 per fishermen.
