recently i respool from old fluorocarbon to 30 lb braid for crankbait, i wonder does i need to do uni-knot a mono or fluorocarbon leader to fish crankbait or just tie with braid as water is still dirt from rain recently,
how is water claity ??

Josh,
I almost always attach my crankbaits, when fishing the WI River system, directly to my line via only a crankbait snap - no leader of any sort (unless fishing muskies of course). I have experimented with using flurocarbon leaders (Sufix) when the fishing seems to get tougher, but can't say that it appears to make much of a difference around here; clear water, that's a different story.
Tight lines,
