Steve Pero Family Catches Good Perch

Well Steve your family was a real joy and I am really proud of my new friend Matt. We headed out towards the Bass Islands in pursuit of some tasty Lake Erie Yellow Perch. We had 4 foot waves so the spot we wanted to fish was out of the question. We went on a mission to find perch in between Middle Bass and Rattlesnake Island and we found perch suspended in 30 feet of water. We used tri-rigs tipped with lake shiners and caught a real nice bunch of decent perch. We moved several times to see if we could find some jumbo's but it was all in all a great day of fishing and I really enjoyed my new friends, I hope they had as much fun as I did.
