A little breezy today, walleye bite a bit slower than during the week. One keeper, 12 shorties and one in the slot. A ton of white bass, 7 crappies, 1 cat, 1 carp, 2 sheephead, and 1 39" musky.
I probably won't be out till midweek and will post then.
Keep a tight line!!!

Thanks for the reports, Jerry. You certainly have been hitting them pretty good. I've had a mixed bag of eyes and smallies this last week with only one 16 inch keeper walleye.

I've been casting strictly jigs and tails so far this year. I see that you've been hitting also on cranks. That's good to know.

Saturday a couple guys from my side caught two 15 inchers and a 24 inch (walleyes). They were floating jigs and minnows on the Buckhorn Bay side in 17 feet of water.

I've been looking shallow so far this year with some success, but it sounds like from your trolling and from these other guys that maybe the eyes have moved to deeper water now. I'll have to start working deeper now.

I can't get back up til late Sat night, so leave some fish in the lake for me!
