Default Early Fox Chain 4-23-10

Headed down to the Chain Friday and fished mainly the northern lakes. Seen 10 twitching small 6 and 7 inch Slammers in the perch, prism perch and walleye patterns. We got a batch of the new 7 inch minnow from the molder the week before and wanted to spend some time testing them. Most of the fish where on the smaller side, but did see one in the low 40" class. Fished over the green weeds. Just one of those days where we could not get anything to eat! Water temps where in the upper 50's with the warmest I found being 61.5. The Southern Wisconsin musky opener is next weekend so I'll be leaving the Chain til next spring. Sure was fun this year being able to get out early!!!
