Searching Mendota again today. Water clarity still poor, but a lot better then Waubesa or Kegonsa. Water temp down to 45' was 64°F, drop down another 3' and it's 52°F. I was looking at a piece of structure in 33 FOW when one walleye swims by, then it looked like a second one but I couldn't see the white tip of the fin (which normally stands out), then a couple sheephead, then a smallmouth and then possibly a second smallmouth (possible it was the same one, hard to tell on the tape) with a channel cat right on it's tail, then a pair of channel cats. A couple of other fish that I couldn't identify because of the poor clarity. Another piece of structure had a bunch of little smallmouth on it. And of course the pesky perch were usually around, but no schools today. Rick
