Brett from Romeoville, IL and his Father-in-law Ron booked a trip for today and wanted to learn a few spots for walleye. Ron had never fished Castle Rock before and Brett has always had trouble catching walleyes so I tried to show them some jigging spots and how to troll with boards. The wind made boat control a bit tough jigging, but they managed to boat some "shorties". Trolling was a little better but with all the weeds floating on the main lake we were having to bring the baits in often to keep them clean. We finished the day with 1 "keeper", 2 in the slot, 14 "shorties", 11 white bass, 1 crappie, and 1 pike.
