Thanks guys. He is hooked for sure. He lost 3 before those 2 over the course of the season so I was a bit jumpy with the net lol. One fish that he lost was a upper 40s that crushed his pacemaker a foot from the boat 11 o'clock at night. That fish came out of the water going nuts and he was holding on for dear life. All in all having him get a couple fish made my season

That is some cool stuff! I think your son has "it." First two muskies in 17 minutes and both on the 8. Unreal!

Thanks for posting that Matt. I think that is one of the best muskie videos ever. I guess I've seen enough DVD's and television shows but you don't get to see stuff like this.

    Thanks again and happy holidays,

Matt, that is insane how awesome that video is! Little man has some serious skills! Was that footage taken with the GoPro Hero2?

    Have a great Christmas,

Yah that was done with the hero 2. Go figure that the hero 3 is out all ready. A buddy just picked one of those up and its quite a bit smaller and lighter

WOW!! Very cool video! Looks like you got a great fishing buddy. Just wondering what kind of rod/reel combo he uses, trying to set up my little guy for next year. Congrats to him and thanks for sharing.

    Chuck
He uses a shimano medium power 7' rod paired with one of the Abu Garcia revo bass sized reels. Works very
Well with 65# braid. I cut the butt section down a bit and balanced it with stainless weights. Helps him with casting.

Well Matt, I loved the video so much I went out and purchased the GoPro Hero 3 Silver edition. I will post some videos as soon as the season opens up. And if I don't catch any fish, I will just post some videos of Razor trying to catch fish for everyone's enjoyment! For those of you who don't know Ray, just imagine Gillespe, Mesikomer, Jim the Hacksaw Duggon, and Sponge Bob all balled up into one.
