    Default Wheat's 13th Annual Fishing Tournament- August 18, 2012

As most of you know the founder, of this fun fishing tournament, Wheaton Williams passed away on May 6th, a committee is continuing the tournament in his honor and thanks to the great sponsors this is possible. The Youth Assistance Program (YAP) will continue to be the beneficiary once again this year, as Wheat had done the previous 12 years. Last year 48 teams participated, with the biggest fish being 9.93 pounds and the 2 fish weight of 17.36 pounds, we hope to have an even better turnout this year! Ask around, you will find that anyone who has fished in this tournament in the past, has enjoyed the day, and the fish fry to follow the event.

Entry forms can be picked up at The Northtown Crown (Da Bar) and Bowl A Rama
Entry fee is $70 per team (2 person teams)
First place (2 fish weight) $500
    Biggest Fish- $500
    First place (5 unders) $500
80% payback to top teams based on entries.

    Special Bonus Prize
    Lots of Door Prizes
Special Drawing for teams signed up by August 13th

Boat check is 6am to 7am at the normal location across from Wheat's Place (map is with entry form)
Weigh in is 3pm at the Bowl A Rama (must be in line by 3pm) map is with entry form

    Boundaries are Michigan Waters only
Participants must be 18 yrs or older or 12-17 if accompanied by parent or guardian

Trailer to the launch of your choice.

Hope to see many of you there.

Glad to see that this local favorite tourney will continue. We used to take in a lot of entries at the bait shop. Feel free to drop some entry forms off with us. Just more convenient for a lot of fishermen.
