Default Shooting, not fishing this time.

Got an invite to a very posh shoot on Saturday. Full on driven day, way outside my price bracket and exactly what England is famous for. I am usually in the line of guys driving the birds over the waiting guns, but this time, thanks to the generous invitation of my wife's boss, I was shooting. Fantastic day. Even the dog behaved himself!

Very cool pic Tim-although the attire reminds me a lot of Frankie when he used to hunt.
    Thanks!

Would love to see Frank in a pair of shooting breeks and a tweedy hat. Maybe a theme for the next Operation Musky? He could even use the old Whale boat for guiding out of.

Got a late offer to join the wife's boss again, this time for the king of game birds, the red grouse. Told a pack of lies to the people I was supposed to be seeing on Friday and hit the motorway. Absolutely fantastic day.

Looks like a Sherlock Holmes costume party. I'll have you know I have a Barbour jacket somewhere in my closet.

Actually took Kringle grouse hunting yesterday.

As to coats,in your case,I think you misspelled it,it's 'barber' coat, not 'barbour'.

Wow! Oak Island has a barber shop quartet now!? Kringle would be the bass. Frank the tenor (he says he doesn't like bass...) who's left for the lead and baritone?

The Sherlock Holmes quartet will have to come over for a convention.

The photo of you, Frank, looks like my Dad when he hunted rabbits in the Adirondacks in the 50's. Next you will have a Whitetail laying on the fender of an old pickup driving around town. I do have both photo's. All I need is a scanner.

    Priceless!You win.
The pipe looks suspiciously like a chain saw wrench however.

    Elementary my dear Kelly.

Pretty good observation with the pipe. Seems I left my crack pipe collection in the boat when I stored it, and had to ad-lib.

Shock of all shocks, the hat said, "made in Korea" on the label. What's next...........Chinese Guinness????
