On the 17th we fished about six hours and had three fish go after topwater baits. Two on Pacemakers and one on a Rough Runner. I give those guys credit for not setting the hook as none of them really touched the bait. Surprised that we didn't get anything on bucktails but that's why you try different lures I guess.

Yesterday we had an upper forty inch fish up twice in the morning and caught another small one in the afternoon. We've caught at least forty of those twenty five inchers this year. That's good for the future. We had the big one up on a Bulldawg and a Supermodel. Both time it was hot on the bait but wouldn't eat.

Water temps were 61 to 64 degrees.
