Hey Folks,

We are sure having some warm days here in Tomahawk, which is helping with the bass bite quite a bit! Smallies and largemouth have moved into shallower areas, wood structure, and rock bars. Using surface or subsurface baits such as rubber frogs, mann's baby -1's (dives 1-3 inches), and poppers have been all working well lately. Along with the trusty old bobber and crawler or leech setup. With all of the catch and release going on with these bass don't forget you can have a beautiful replica done of your trophy fish!

Some nice walleyes coming in again this week. A 24 1/2" is the biggest we've seen so far. Try a slip bobber setup with a leech along the weed edges. Also a jig or a plain hook and sinker tipped with a leech or crawler was working well too!

Northern Pike are slammin big spinner baits or #18 rapalas along deeper weed edges right now! It has been a steady bite all day.

Topwater baits are still hot for musky, but we have seen a couple of nice fish caught on Red October tubes! Guys are fishing these tubes in deep water mid day.

Nice bluegill are being caught on the Spirit Flo. some over 10"! Waxies or leafworms for bait in the shallows.

Some decent reports on crappies. Most anglers are hitting the trestles in the late afternoons using a small minnow on a slip bobber set up.

Well I hope this helps you guys out! And don't be afraid to post your fishing trip stories or reports!!!

Good Luck Fishing!
