End of Vacation Report

We are, unfortunately, almost at the end of our great week plus of vacation. The muskie fishing has been off and on, with the last two days being very much on! We have boated a total of six so far, ranging from one tiny sub-20" fish to about 42" (other than the baby muskie, the others were between 36" and 42"). I will post pics if someone can educate me on the process.

Thursday we bass fished during the day, and struck out at night. Nothing going Friday a.m., and we chose the casino option Friday night to escape the heat (lost, of course, but not too bad). We boated a 36" fish last night about 20 minutes after sunset on a topwater. Bass fished during the day today, and then boated a 40" and 42" tonight on bucktails. Debbie had another one wake up behind her topwater tonight before a floating weed killed that encounter, and I also missed another fish on a bad hookset. All fish were weed or stump related.
