Between rain showers we have been getting out. And I do mean out. The fish have moved further off shore but they are still biting. We are blessed off of North Point as deep water isn't that far off shore. For example we can be fishing in 200 feet of water only a few miles from the marina. That's a good thing as that's where the fish have moved. We have been heading out to 175 feet of water, setting the lines and just trolling out until we find the schools.
Are we limiting out in a couple of hours like last week? Nope. But we are getting steady action and most boats are returning to the harbor with a nice mixed catch of Kings, Coho and Rainbow. Also the occasional Lake Trout is also coming aboard. Best lures are a dodger/fly combo or medium sized spoons.
See ya on the water
