    Default Spearing

Talked with the DNR this week and for all those who think that native americans need more fish you will be happy to hear they speared 2800 the first night on the TFF and were here all week. I understand that 4800 is the allowed take this year. Snowing this morning. Hope it warms by the weekend!! Good fishing!!

2,800 spawning walleye speared in one night?? That's gross!!

Does anyone know where they do most of their spearing?

    Randy:

Without knowing, I bet they are at LOTF inlet on the Turtle arm... We can't go there, but based on what I have seen on refuge areas for spawning in other places, they can.
