    Default Perch

Finally able to get on here after forgetting what my password was. Fished just south of the yellow gate on fri. and sunday in 35 fow. Fri fished from 7:30-3:00 and ended up with 7 nice perch. All between 10 and 12 inches. On sunday did even better. Ended up with 12 all between 9 and 14 inches. Only fished from 8:00- 12. Had to go and watch the Daytona 500. All the fish where caught on 2 inch minnows on perch rigs and tear drops tipped with wigglers. The biggest was on a tip-up with a 3 inch minnow.

Are people still driving off the first yellow gate fairly well? Any trouble spots out there?

Only place that I have seen to watch out 4 is the east side of Butler`s Island off of the kipling launch. Have seen 2 trucks and a 4 wheeler go in and know one has marked the spot yet as of sunday morning. Otherwise it is good traveling out there.

    Default Bad spot

As swamp Rat said nobody marked the spot yet. Monday evening heard on scanner Rampart was taking one of two people that went in at kipling to hospital. I would bet it is the same spot (plenty of tracks that way).

Is the DNR is involved when somebody breaks through? Would they have some kind of markers. It really should be marked.

If the DNR posted anything around bad ice they would/could become liable.
