Kids Ice Fishing Contest...??

What happened to Tomahawk Fishing Unlimited's Kids Ice Fishing Contest? It was scheduled for this comming weekend but I heard it was cancelled. My kids loved that, they're bummed-out. Anyone know why it was cancelled? Did the Fishing Club not have enough funds to sponser this or ???????

im not positive but i think it was because there wasnt enough volunteers

Tomahawk Fishing Unlimited has been run by a handful of very good/kind hearted people for years. They are primarily of retirement age, and quite frankly are tired. The lack of new, younger, enthusiastic volunteers have caused this organizaiton to close it's doors. It's a sad situation, but unless others step up and get involved themselves, expect more of the same from other organizations.
