Thread: Southern Wisconsin River Walleyes

  1. Default Southern Wisconsin River Walleyes

The past three weeks when time and weather has permitted me to get on the river. I have been doing really well catching nine to eleven walleye and saugers each time out and four to five keeper sized fish 16 inches to 19 inches. All have been caught while slipping the current while vertical jigging. We have been changing up jig colors with 1/8th oz. orange and chartruse being the best! We also caught some bonus northern pike and a musky. Anyone know anything about all the small black spots on the musky pictured below?
