Musky Report 09/30

Hit the lake today with my good friends Steve and Jeff and we caught three muskies up to 41", and I lost a real dandy early in the morning half way to the boat. She was head shaking me like mad and eventually threw my bucktail. I also raised a fat upper forty incher that swiped at my bucktail at boatside, but because I was in Jeff's boat, I wasn't able to do a real good Figure-8 manuever due to the high sides on his Star Craft. I did manage to get my 35 incher on a Figure-8 in the afternoon and I caught a 34" pike. Wish we could have nailed a few more big fish, but it seemed that the smaller fish were the most active today. Fun day on the water though!
