I noticed that the river surface temp has dropped to 65-66 degree this past weekend. I assume that Tionesta has also dropped as well. Anyone doing any good on Tionesta Lake ?

The funny thing about the outflow temp is that is barely got to 70 this summer and that was just for a couple of days then right back in the upper 60's. It was 65.6 both days this weekend. It really has not dropped that much considering how cool September has been so far. The biggest change is South of Warren due to Chautauqua cooling off so quickly.
BTW, when I called the Kinzua years ago, they said they drop a string with a thermometer tied to it over one side of the dam and then the other......presto, you now have the Reservoir and River temp. I called them to see if my graph was wrong or something cuz my temps were consistently different than theirs. They only take the temp readings on Monday's or at least that was the case 10 years ago.
