    Default Area Musky

Smaller lakes in the Mercer area have been coughing up a few nice fish for us. July was a good month with lots of fish over 40" and one as high as 46". Everything was caught on either homemade spinner baits/double tens or gliders. I focused my efforts around the moon, it didnt matter if water temps were 75 degrees and the sun was high and hot. If the moon was setting or at foot the fish were on the move.

    Thank you.

I do not understand why they won't blow up, I seem to have to same trouble on my XP machine but works fine on my Vista.

    Default Very nice!

Pictures worked fine on my computer as well. Haven't had my boat wet anywhere but the TFF in about 5 years, although my feet have been getting to know some of the western WI trout streams. Looks like it might be time to put a few more miles on the trailer tires. Out of curiosity, which lakes have good landings and adequate parking for larger rigs?

Very Nice---I have lots of luck with the other lakes in Mercer for Musky also--Up to 40" there is a very good population on most of the nearby lakes---Congratulations on the Success you have had-- the pics look great and you are making me jealous as I won't geta chance to get back up there until OCT. Good Luck with the rest of the season and share your Pics of any others with us---It's always nice to read the reports and see what is going on.

Great pics! Thanks for sharing. I also noticed, in the next to last pic, that you also use one of those extremely effective and popular Miller lures.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
