Mr. Biggs Tournament
Drenda and I fished the Mr. Biggs tournament this past weekend with Bruce, his son and Steve. We were only targeting big fish so we didn't put up big numbers. Bruce got a sweet 49 that was in the mid 30 pound range. It inhaled one of Bruces new prototype baits. Sweet new baits by the way. I only managed 2 fish and 1 of those was a stinking catfish. Drenda did better than me. Her 42 was her personal best and she followed that up with a fat 41 yesterday on her birthday so she was happy. We had a great time Staying with Bruce and Anita. Thank you very much for everything.
Lots of weeds if anyone is going up. Plan on clearing your lines alot. My friggen arms are tired from doing that for 15 hours on Saturday and 7 yesterday. Thats how it goes though. Still had a blast and can't wait to get back up there. We are planning on going back for labor day weekend. See ya all on the water soon.
