    Default Suick question

I was thinking about putting split rings on the end of my suicks where the leader snaps on. Sometimes my Dad (69 yrs old) has trouble threading them onto the snap of the leader. Anyone else do this or have any thoughts? I don't think it would change the bait's action.

I have tied a 3" piece of single strand 174# wire to mine, on the end I have a larger opening that I attach my leader too. I also would be curious what others do.

Not on my suick, but on my hawg wobbler I used a conventional snap...

It may change the action a little but you can adjust that by turning the screw eye one way or the other. Suicks can be very finicky but they work pretty darn good.

I attach a split ring to all my lures. I personally do not find it interfering with the majority of the lures. Bucher used to have some nice titanium split rings.
