Little Oak Lots

What are your thoughts on the Little Oak lots for sale?
Ease of getting there with weather, boat protection once there, how difficult getting supplies there to build, etc.

Depends on your boat and tolerance for pain. Make sure you have a windshield or you will get wet. Dock protection doesn't exist if the wind blows in the wrong direction. Kind of like sitting around a campfire. Seems to blow on you no matter where you sit. A few years ago I heard there was someone there who had a barrel filled with concrete, ran a chain through it and used it as an offshore mooring thing. Somehow in a strong wind the chain broke and the rest is fairly easy to imagine.

I would guess Carlsons barge will haul stuff for you, no idea what the cost would be.

I don't know if REA has electricity out there - I doubt it.
